The group discussed A Place of Refuge by Asmaa Hussein, leading to meaningful conversations about faith, motherhood, personal growth, and navigating life with intention and trust in Allah 🌿✨ Moments like these remind us that Hidayah Academy is more than just a school, it is a community where families grow, support one another, and build lasting connections rooted in faith. 🤲🏼💪🏼 @ruqayas.bookshelf

✨ Flashback Friday ✨ Behind every beautiful Glam ✨ Flashback Friday ✨ Behind every beautiful Glam Night was a team quietly working countless hours behind the scenes From setting up décor, cleaning mirrors, assembling boxes, ironing tote bags, dipping strawberries, running errands, lifting tables, fixing last-minute details, and everything in between, this team did it all. There was time, effort, sweat, exhaustion, laughter, and stress poured into making the night special for our girls. So much of what people saw that evening was only possible because of volunteers who gave their hearts sincerely and selflessly. Glam Night was more than just a pretty event, it was a labor of love built by a community that showed up for one another in the most beautiful way 💕 May Allah (SWT) reward every single person who contributed, even in the smallest way, and place barakah in all of their efforts. The best reminders are often from those closest to The best reminders are often from those closest to your age. Hidayah Academy launched a new initiative with our high school boys leading weekly khutbahs for their peers. But behind each khutbah is preparation, mentorship, and growth. Students choose their topics ahead of time, review authentic sources and ahadith, and learn the proper structure and pillars of a Jumu’ah khutbah, from how to begin and conclude, to understanding what makes a khutbah valid. It’s more than just giving a talk, it’s soft training in leadership, responsibility, adab, and public speaking, followed by feedback and reflection that helps students grow with confidence and sincerity. Throughout the month, our students delivered thoughtful reminders on topics relevant to faith, character, and everyday life: 📖 Yusuf — Turning a New Page with Allah ✌️Hassan — Not Making Fun of One Another 🤝Eesa — Keeping Good Company through the Story of the Youth in Surah Al-Kahf 🤲Musa — Repentance 🤍Muhammad — Respecting Parents & Elders May Allah (swt) continue to allow our students to benefit and inspire one another through knowledge and action. Through design thinking, our students collaborated, built solutions, and pitched their ideas, while also networking and gaining valuable skills for their future and college journeys 💡🗣️ We’re proud to see Hidayah students contributing to meaningful conversations and representing with creativity and confidence, Alhumdulilah

🌍✨ Alhumdulilah, our Hidayah Academy Model UN team 🌍✨ Alhumdulilah, our Hidayah Academy Model UN team ended the year on a high, representing with excellence at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., at a conference organized by the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area. Competing alongside hundreds of students from across the DMV, our students stood out, not only earning Honorable Mention and Verbal Commendation awards 🏆, but also as the only Islamic school in attendance. They had the unique opportunity to engage with Foreign Service Officers and state officials, gaining real-world insight and confidence along the way. A proud moment for Hidayah Academy, masha’Allah 👏
