They came together with creativity, love, and dedication to show our wonderful teachers just how much they are appreciated.

Here’s just a taste of the delicious spread they prepared:

🍋 Homemade blueberry lemon muffins
🥐 Two types of homemade croissants
🥙 Two varieties of Turkish Pogaca: one with meat filling, the other with cheese
☕️ Homemade masala chai mix in jars for teachers to take home
🍊 Freshly squeezed orange-strawberry juice & mint lemonade
🥭 Mango Lassi made from fresh ingredients
🌺 Freshly brewed hibiscus drink
🥗 Grazing cups
🥞 Homemade crepes
☕️ Authentic Somali tea

We also supported local businesses and restaurants like Ashburn Kabob, SK Shwarma, and Four Seasons Bakery to make the week even more special.

It was truly a beautiful and delicious way to show our teachers just how much they mean to us. Jazakum Allahu Khair to our wonderful moms and community for making this week so memorable! 💖

Hidayah Academy hosted its annual Boys Event at Ur

Hidayah Academy hosted its annual Boys Event at Urban Air, where our young men and their fathers had a blast! 🙌 From ziplining and laser tag to rock climbing, obstacle courses, and trampolines — it was nonstop fun 🧗‍♂️followed by delicious lamb/chicken platters and pizza 🧁🍽️🥤.

📣 Masha’Allah! Hidayah Academy’s Model UN team recently competed at Chantilly High School and placed 4th out of 30 teams, earning a Verbal Commendation award! 🏅

Only 7 teams received awards—alongside top-ranked schools like Thomas Jefferson High School (2nd best MUN team in the U.S.)—making this a truly impressive achievement, Alhamdulillah 🙌

Special shoutout to our delegates Eesa and Mahdi, who represented Bangladesh and brought home the award! 🌍💬

And of course, a huge thank you to our amazing coach for guiding, supporting, and inspiring our students every step of the way! 👏
